Product: Laserjet m452
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra
I cannot find any option where I can set the default of this printer to black and white only. The majority of things I will print will be in black and white and it’s a pain to have to manually check the correct box each and every time. Plus, when I print from my phone, it sometimes doesn’t even give me an option to print in B&W, forcing me to print in color.
Is there a way to make B&W the default and print in color by checking a box or drop down menu?

Hi,
From the application used to print select the settings to print black & white as you would usually print, but prior printing the document click the Preset menu and savew the current settings as a preset, the print your job.
Once printing using a preset it will remain default till another preset will be selected in the future.
From a mobile device those cannot be set as default and must be manually selected, while you can select black and white printing for a document, a such cannot be selected for a photo from a mobile device.
