Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's run this version of HP Print and Scan Doctor: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Let me know if this helps.

Is the printer driver installed with a WSD port by any chance? These are notoriously prone to offline failures and we typically recommend that the printer driver be configured with an TCP/IP port.
