I read most of the posts here and none was helpful. My Laserjet Pro M102w connects to the router (blue light steady and it is listed on router's DHCP list) after first istallation, but do not print via wifi and cannot be accessed via wifi for administrative tasks. Reinstallation have not helped, as the prrogram identified correctly router and WPA pass, but said that it is wrong password. In fact I changed WPA pass on the router in hope that it would help, nonetheless new password was identified correctly, but printer did not wanted to use it, apparently.
I spent too much time to solve something that should be quite simple. Is there any way to use the Laserjet Pro M102w via wifi and gain full control on the printer? Perhaps, there is effective method to reset printer to factory settings?

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand your HP LaserJet Pro M102w isn't connecting to the wifi network,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Have you attempted a network defaults on the printer?
Did you upgrade the firmware of the printer via USB?
(Click here to find and install the same)
Did you try USB to Wireless wifi setup?
(Click here for steps, if you haven't)
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the printer and network settings to the factory defaults. It
will not reset the page count, tray size, or language. To restore the printer to the factory-default settings,
follow these steps.
CAUTION: Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the settings to the factory defaults, and it also
deletes any pages that are stored in the memory.
1. Open the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS):
Direct-connected printers
a. Open the HP Printer Assistant.
● Windows 8.1: Click the down arrow in lower left corner of the Start screen, and then select
the printer name.
b. In the HP Printer Assistant, select Print, and then select HP Device Toolbox.
Network-connected printers
a. Print a configuration page to determine the IP address or host name.
i. Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button until the Ready light begins blinking.
ii. Release the Resume/Cancel button.
b. Open a web browser, and in the address line, type the IP address or host name exactly as it
displays on the printer configuration page. Press the Enter key on the computer keyboard. The
EWS opens.
NOTE: If the web browser displays a message indicating that accessing the website might not be
safe, select the option to continue to the website. Accessing this website will not harm the
computer.
2. On the System tab, click Save and Restore in the left navigation pane.
3. In the Restore Defaults area, click the Restore defaults button.
The printer automatically restarts.

Hi Riddle_Decipher,
Thank you very much. Actually, I tried all those options and then spent 2 hours with HP service on the phone. Unfortunately, the conclusion was that the printer has to be replaced. So I am packing it now to send back.
Many thanks.
