Laserjet Pro MFP M477FDW how to print only with black ink

Hello;

I have a Laserjet Pro MFP M477FDW and because of my work, I realy need to use almost everytime, the black ink.

On the configurations, I have selected grey scale on the color tab, manual, in the setting i have selected only black, and on the color Themes i have selected none.

Then i have printed one page. On this page, i have seen diferente tons of black, so probably, i´m printing on grey mode, and not on black and white. But cheking the configurations, i have noted that the black ink (have changed the value, because one more page have been printed), but on the colors the number stays freeze.

This means that i´m realy printing only black?

Can anyone help me?

It is possible to get different shades with just Black Toner, just look at the prints from any HP Monochrome printer.

I have printed everything with the black color...

But suprise ... when I went to see the toner register,   I checked that I have 117 in black and 96 in the other colors.
So, the other colors are also being used ....
Now I don´t understand, should not only the black toner be used?

The Printer will still use color toner because it will run periodic calibrations, that is necessary so if you choose to print color it will mix the toners properly.

I don't know how to set my printer to only use the black cartridge. I don't want to buy more color cartridges
