Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Latest Windows 10 Security update (KB4524148), which was installed on 10-7-19, has caused all the laptops at my office to have issues with printing on our network shared HP printers (M281s). I was successful on one of my laptops by downloading the HP driver and removing the printer, then re-installing the printer and working through troubleshoot. That worked. However, we have two laptops that refuse to work using this method. On one laptop I have uninstalled the security update but nothing seems to work. HP Smart diagnostics results in "Driver Check issue not fixed"

From the description, you might have been caught in the recent Windows Update "messiness".

Just today (08-Oct-2019) Microsoft has released a fix.

If your issue is related, the latest Update should populate your "Check for Updates" list and take care of the problem.  If the new Update does not show up today, check again in a bit.
