@davidjwnam,

Welcome to HP Support Forums!

I see from your post that you need assistance in resetting your printer. No worries, I'll be glad to assist you.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Could you please provide me with the product number of the printer? Use this link to find it:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Why do you want to reset the printer? What exactly seems to be an issue with the printer?

As the advanced reset steps are specific to each printer model, I would request you respond to this post with the printer model and I shall help you with the details which should help you resolve this issue.

Eagerly waiting for your response!

Im assuming this message was private to cover the fact the HP are covering up and issue with Firmware on the M102. If you update firmware you will brick your printer and turn it into a NON working 3020. Sure would like HP to resolve this instead of informing me the printer is out of warranty......Care to chime in HP?

Hi

Need to reset fully because i'm having trouble setting up for wireless.

@Umpapa10, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!
