M102w laser printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I changed my (WIFI) network name and password to make it easier and I can't get my M102w printer to go back online. I've tried everything HP said to do and nothing works. Funny thing is that my computer knows it's there because it will print the Wi-Fi Direct PIN and theprinter is NOT hard wired to the computer. I'm at my wit's end here. Why not a screen to select the network and then password like everything else??

You need to repeat the steps you take like just bought your printer and removed it from the box. Run setup use a USB cable for temporary connect printer and computer then the setup will adjust printers network settings and connect your printer to the network. It's a 5-minute job.

If you use Wi-Fi direct the computer bypasses your home network and prints directly to the printer.

Thanks for your speedy response! Finally got it sorted out and your solution was part of the remedy.  Turns out I had other issues as well. The WI-FI Direct makes everything a little different. The printer was noticed by my PC on the Network page but not in the device manager. After some looking around it seems there was a driver missing or bad or something. Then I had to enter the printer's url for it to be found. None of it made any sense to me.

Thanks again!
