Hey guys,
M12w configuration:
IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.105
IP Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
IP Default Gateway: 100.0.0.254
WINS Server: 100.0.0.253
In the process of configuring the printer to give it a static IP, it rejected the IP I had input (I wanted 100.0.0.119 but maybe I made a typo, who knows) and seems to have kept the gateway and DNS whilst also keeping the default IP.
How can I connect to the embedded webpage of this printer in my web browser and change the IP address to one that's accessible?
What would be easiest for me is if there's a way to hold a button down on the printer and factory reset it but all I have found so far is that this can only be done via the embedded webpage.
Any ideas? Anything obvious I'm missing?

Hi,
The easiest way would be installing the printer with a USB first, then open the printer software and click on HP Device Toolbox within the printing category, that will launch the EWS page
From the networking tab you may change the IP Settings or the Wireless Network settings.

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a general HP printer software installed via the M12w driver. After installing the printer via USB, the only programs under the HP LaserJet Pro M11-M13 Series folder is "HP ePrint", "Uninstall", and "Wireless Configuration".
The closest I can get to opening an embedded web page is through trying to configure it wirelessly via the driver setup where there's a link to open it but this only gives me access to the page that allows me to configure the access point it connects to and not the IP configuration.
Could you perhaps tell me where the printer software would be located on my computer or perhaps it's a separate download from the HP website?
