m15w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wrongly forced an update of the M15a firmware onto my m15w lasterjet pro printer

I cannot connect to the printer again either through wireless or usb connection. I'm using Windows 10x64.

The power light and the Warning light (!) are both flashing.

i deinstalled drivers and now install soft, assistant, windows, ifrmware update and hp doctor do not see printer. i used only programs from

https://support.hp.com/ru-ru/drivers/selfservice/closure/hp-laserjet-pro-m14-m17-printer-series/1664...

Is there any way to connect and correct printer? i just bought it.

Welcome to HP Support Community

I suggest you reset the printer to factory defaults and then try connecting the printer back to your wireless

- Open the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS)

- In the HP Printer Assistant, select Print, and then select HP Device Toolbox.

- Go to the Service tab.

- In the Restore Defaults area, click the Restore defaults button.

- The printer restarts

Setup the printer and connect it back to your wireless

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a great weekend 😊

HP, are you serious? Official service says it is unrepairable soft failure. HP will replace my printer with a new one. Seriously, soft error that cannot be fixed? Are we in 40's XX century?
