One of my clients installed new toner in a M254dw networked printer and it now displays the message "USB device not supported".  I am unable to clear the message but can generate local prints via reports and there isn't any issue printing or feeding and the color demo page looks fine as well.  Has anyone encountered this issue before?  Perhaps the new cartridge registration triggered the message?

Remove all supplies and try restarting the device and see if it comes to a prompt to install cartridges. If it does, install cartridges one at a time, closing the door after each cartridge. Could be a glitch or fault with the new cartridge. If so, HP will replace under supplies warranty. If 3rd party cartridge, contact vendor.

Thank you!  That addressed the issue!  No errors indicated for any of the cartridges so chalking up to chip gremlins for now.
