After a year using non original HP cartridges, this morning the printer showed the message "supply memory error". Not sure if printer firmware was updated, but anyway I downgraded to 20150716 with no luck, the issue still persists.

All cartridges are marked as "unknown" even after installing one original HP empty cartridge I still own.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

In this case, I'd request you to speak to the support team for further assistance in getting genuine HP ink cartridges. 🙂

 

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/ 

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Dear Barachiel,

maybe my question is not enough clear.

I have already following all the instruction present in this post:

I have already install new toner orignial HP #4 cartridges B/C/M/Y (loss more 300€).

I have already call the assistance of HP #4 times (loss more of 5 hrs).

I don't received any clear suggestion and my printer after 2 weeks is blocked. 

My initial error was to install just #1 toner cartridge BLACK not ORIGINAL in my M277dw laserjet printer (please note I received the toner from AMAZON and the packaging seems original but after check the code are not HP).

Now I following the instruction received from HP call center and also the instruction of the post present in this forum but I don't have any positive result.

Do you have a real clear suggestion?

During the last call with HP call center I received the suggestion to change my laser jet with new printer. I think this suggestion is not correct, is not possible to destroy a printer only for the install not original HP toner..... 

I will wait your answer.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
