Laserjet MFP M281fdw

I bought the M281 just last week and set up was great and it coneected to the network just fine. Yesterday for some reason, it can no longer find my network. Everything else on the network is connecting fine. I am using a MacBook pro, running El Capitan, and the router is a Time Capsule. It was fine, then it just quit. I can see and select the printer on my computer, but it says not connected to server. When I try to set it up from the printer touchscreen, it says can't find the network, using both the set-up wizard and typing in the the network name.

Please help. I'm stunned at how difficult it is to contact HP tech support or get a response when messaging them. I love this printer, but am stuck.

Thank you for any advice.

Thank you so much. I'm finding that if the printer sits idle for a day, I have to unplug the printer and let it restart, then it finds the network again. Is there a reason it's losing the network during extended idle time?

Thank you,

Tami

Thank you. I followed the steps in both the YouTube video and through Apple support, as my router does not have  a physical WPS button. The process appears successful. Time will tell after the printer sits idle for a bit. But I'm sure this will take care of it.

I appreciate you answering further. I couldn't see a pattern of the disconnect once idle until it happened a few times in a row, so thank you for continuing to follow up with me!

Much appreciated,

Tami
