printer shuts itself down overnight and you have to press the power button to get it back on. It is connected to an office network

Check the EWS, (Embedded Web Server), settings. If you don't want it to turn off you will have to change the Power Settings.

 

Does it turn on if you send a Print Job to it?

No, it doesn't turn on when you send a print.  How do you get into the EWS?
