How are the J82, J98, and J30 plugs released from the connectors on the DC Controller? These plugs are black with purple wiring on the M602.
The J84, J85, J95 and J96 plugs have been removed in the image below. Those are white with purple wiring and they have tabs that either lift up or push down to release the plug from the connector. These 7 plugs are part of the power supply wiring harness and must be released to remove the power supply. It is just not obvious to me how to release the three black plugs. I see nothing in the service manual about a tool being necessary so I'm looking for a release of some type managed with the fingers. The two black plugs in the center of the image and one at the top are the ones that need to be disconnected. Thanks for your help.

You just have to pull gently straight back holding by The wiring.
I have replaced many DC controllers and never had the wires pulled out of a plug.

Yes, they did pull straight back holding the wiring. I also found a little back and forth motion while pulling straight back seemed to help. Pulling the wires out of the plug was my fear and your reply gave me the confidence to try a little harder. Thank you Professor!
