HP M653
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

Hello,

We just recently purchased a M653 for printing statements. When the statements are printing the paper will go through the duplexer, flip, and then it will print on the correct side. Because of this the paper has to be loaded in the tray upside down and backwards. I have disabled Alternative Letterhead mode and nothing seems to help. the printing process isn't as fast as it should be because of the page having to go through the duplexer for no reason.

Thanks!

do you have duplex set as default either on the printer or your driver because that is what this behavior suggests.

I don't have an option for duplexing on the server or printer. The only option is in the printer itself "duplex blank pages(automatic or always)". everything else does fine except for when I'm printing statements

If everything else printer fine then it would suggest that something in the print settings of  your accounting program is triggering the duplex like behaviour.

Well, I have talked to the vendor and they stated that it wasn't their software, but it seems like it may be at this point. Everything works as it should besides that part of printing. Thanks for the input though!
