My printer fell off the table and was damaged severely. What is the best solution - repair it or replace it?

If you have warranty remaining on the printer then call it into HP. They can explain the options to you from there.

If there is no warranty then you need to make a decision.  We use a 50% break/fail rule where we work.  If the non-routine repair costs of a given printer exceed 50% of the original value then we swap the printer.  This helps us keep our fleet fresh and gives us a consistent break point at which to stop troubleshooting.

For a quote on the damage I would advise contacting a local HP repair shop.  See what they say.  Make your decision to repair or replace the printer based on that.
