MFP M177fw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Dears,

I've purchased MFP M177fw last week and connected it to my home wired ethernet network with static IP address. I've installed latest HP complete set of drivers & software on all my three workstations without any issue including printing test page during install. Today i've got a need to print one document and failed. From all computers running MS Windows 10 I've tried to print from MS Word and it didn't work. Document after pressing button "Print" simply goes nowhere, i've checked also local printer queue. Same thing happens if I print from web-browser (firefox), from MS Excel, Powepoint, Notepad  etc. The only things I could print from Windows 10 computers are PDF files using Foxreader. From one computer with MS Windows 8.1 printing does work perfectly however, I can print everything from any application.

Funny enought but i.e. scanner service from same device works well on all computer (win 10 & win 8.1) without any glitch.

I've seen a number of topics already regarding similar isuue and configuration but i haven't seen a solution, and I need one. I've just got rid of my two years old Richon GelJet as it was really pissing me off and switched to HP for only one reason, to forget about problems with printing. Help?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I've went trough literally all of the steps and it has helped actually, however I cannot tell you which step exactly.

Step 1 reported no issue,

Step 2 wasn't relevant,

Step 3 fully executed,

Step 4 fully executed,

Step 5 fully executed,

Step 6 done trough printer web interface,

Step 7 failed, windows repoterd a crash of printer app, had to reboot computer,

Step 8 done, removed installed drivers and reinstalled.

Now it works, thank you. I'll let you if it'll cause any issues in the future.

Dear Rainbow23,

From event viewer (Windows 10 Ent. x64)

The document Print Document, owned by CZBRNMICP, failed to print on printer HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw. Try to print the document again
or restart the print spooler.
Data type: RAW. Size of the spool file in bytes: 706319. Number of bytes printed: 706319. Total number of pages in the document: 1. Number of
pages printed: 0. Client computer: \\CZBRNL074. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 2147500037. Unspecified error

This is a clean install of the MFP, on new installed Windows 10 , with official HP Full solution driver / software.

Network communication ok, printer is online and ready (WLAN).

HP Scan working good.

Builtin reports, directly from printer menu (for example status page) possible to print.

Firmware has been updated.

Print job is sent (test page) and seems like no error in spooler, but nothing comes out from printer, and the printer processor drop error every time in Windows Event Log. (See the error message above)

What can i do?  To me seems like formatter board error. The device is out of warranty.

My last hope is the USB mode install, but the user need print/scan from network if it possible.

(and no USB cable yet in that office)
