Hi there,
We purchased and setup a new M181FW printer not too long ago and recently it has decided to stop faxing. The screen says that Fax is Disabled and when we try to get into settings it is asking for a password. As far as I know nobody went in and disabled the fax so I am not sure why it is disabled, the phone line still works as it is shared with a telephone.
I don't recall setting up a password to get into settings, maybe I did and I don't remember. Can anyone tell me what the default password may be or how we can reset it if we need to?
Thanks in advance.

@CJD138, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
