HP LaserJet PRO M225dn

HI I have an issue with my printer HP LASERJET PRO M225dn the frameware sometimes works just fine  and sometimes it shows the "ready 2 download" and wont pe usable  everytime i update the frameware the printer restarts and shows me  "r eady 2 download" and it doesn't show any signs that uptade was succesful or not

while i was reading other topics about this error on other printers i came to realize that always ends with reciving a private message.

Can anyone help me solve this issue.

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. 

 

Let's try to reset the Printer first:

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  7. NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
  8. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  9. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  10. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Once done, please try to update the firmware from the Computer: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

 

From the document above, please follow the steps under "Download firmware updates from the HP website".

thanks

but after updating the firmware when printer tries to restart

it stucks at loading and i have to turn it off again

after doin so nothing is changed and the problem still exist.

i already did this steps before and after your post i did it again 3 times, each time the same thing happend.

is there and other option?
