Hi, I have a UK 220 volt version of this device and I will be relocating to a country that uses 120 volts. Reviewing this page:
under the Power Specifications section it indicates that it can handle voltages from 100 to 240. However on the back of my device it says 220-240 volts.
Which one is correct?
Thanks.

Most inkjet printers are dual-voltage devices, using external universal power supply units.
But laser printers do not generally use universal or external power supply units, because they require much higher power ratings (primarily due to the fuser power consumption).
For the LaserJet Pro M277dw, the datasheet shows:
So your only option would be to use a suitably-rated step-up transformer.
In the past, I've successfully done the opposite: used a step-down transformer to run a 110 v model on a 220 volt supply; the device (LaserJet M553) appeared to be able to handle the different power-supply frequencies (which transformers don't change) without problem.

HI I want to buy a 220 volt printer here in the US to use when I travel (for long periods of time in one location). I am thinking the HP LaserJet Pro M402n Laser Printer with Built-in Ethernet. It too shows the ("not dual voltage, product varies by part number with # Option code identifier). What does that mean?

They make two versions, one for 110 and one for 220 so no you would not be able to directly connect to the wall. You could try getting a step up transformer, but likely less hassle to just purchase a printer when you get to your new destination.

For 402 it means you need to buy a specific model that has 220 power support.
