Product: MFP M477fnw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ran a wireless network test report and the unit is connected to the network and passes all diagnostic tests.  I've installed the HP software for this unit on a Windows 10 laptop.  It shows the printer as "offline", yet I can scan from it to my laptop.

 

This is also an issue on another laptop we have.  Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated!

The FIRST thing I would check is whether the printer is running the most current version of the firmware, which is 20170728.  You can check this by logging into the printer's browser interface  and going to Device Configuration, under the Home tab.

 

If it's not, see if installing the current firmware solves the problem.

 

If you need more help, maybe you could say exactly what the problem is you're having: you say that it passes all tests, and you can scan from your laptop... so what's the issue?  What's it not doing?
