MFP M477fdw wakes up immediately after going to sleep

On pg 107 of the service manual it documents an option for disabling faxes.  This requires setting an admin password for the printer, which I did.  Once set, I disabled faxing and waited 5 minutes, after which the printer went to sleep.  IT STAYED ASLEEP!  For me, this provides solid evidence that it is indeed the fax card that was waking it up.  Is there a way to get the fax card replaced?

Yay! Glad you were able to disable the fax and get it figured out. Yes, you can get a replacement fax card.

Do a Google search for that part number to find one.
