My printer is connected to WiFi.  I recently got a new router and since then my daughter can't find the printer from her MacBook.  I have deleted preferences, tried to connect via IP, etc and nothing is working.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂

Thank you for posting on HP Forums, MKazi is at your service.

I understand that you have replaced the router and since then your HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer does not print. The printer cannot be found on the MacBook. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps.

I'll be glad to assist you with this case.

Let us perform the following steps to ensure that the printer is connected to the network:

  • Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
  • Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
  • Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
  • The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
  • Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.

Restore network defaults:

  • In settings, look for an option to restore network defaults.

Once the network defaults are performed, let us re-run the wireless setup wizard by following the below steps:

After your printer is connected to the wireless network you may perform the steps from this HP document to add the AirPrint drivers.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Let me know the outcome.

All the best! 🙂
