Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have an older Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw and replaced the expensive high capacity toner cartridges a couple of years ago but I don't print that often. Over the months the printouts have developed magenta dots on the printouts (see attached). Reading similar problem descriptions, I suspect it's a defective magenta toner cartridge. I still have over 80% of the toner left and it would be expensive to replace it with another high capacity cartridge.  Is there anything I can do to salvage this one such as removing it and cleaning the drum or something?Cookie's Rainbow Bridge.jpg

That is a bad cartridge, you could inquire with technical support to see if HP will replace under HP print quality warranty.

Thanks for your help. I'll contact them to see if I might get a break on the replacement cartridge.
