Hi,
I have a HP Laserjet P1102 printer which works fine when i connect it in my office. I'm hoping to put this printer in my work car, but are having difficultiues making it work. I have a 550W inverter with modified Sine wave. Waeco PP602 Inverter.
Could the issue be that I need a more expencive inverter with a pure sine wave? When connected in my car the printers green light are lit but when trying to print i get error on the PC,telling me there is a printing issus. light on printer is still green.

Hi,
Have tried connecting the printer directly with USB to the same port as I used in the car. And in the office it works perfectly. In the car i'm using the same USB port and the same cable. Only difference is the power supply.

When you turn ON your printer in the car do you have printer initialization process, rotation and sounds coming out of the printer the same when the printer is connected in the office?
