Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

My printer prints adobe files and HP test files But will not print microsoft files Just starter two days ago

Uninstall and reinstall with the latest HP software from the HP support website for your OS.

 

If that doesnt resolve the problem then the next step is to repair Microsoft Office on your PC.  

 

By resetting everything back to the defaults you can correct simple corruption or configuration issues.

Thanks for the response. The problem is it prints HP and Adobe products It won't print Roots Magic, Dazzle (envolope printer)

Quicken and all Microsoft Products. It also says my cartriage is not genuine. I purchased it online from HP. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest drivers. This just started this a couple of days ago. This happens on other computers Network or direct usb. I have tryed all suggestions from support chat and anything I can find on line.

If you purchased your cartridges online from HP then they should register as genuine.  Try updating your firmware to see if you can get that error message to go away first.  Then we can circle back around to the Microsoft Office Products and other applications not printing from there.

 

If you have the most recent firmware and the printer is still not recognizing the cartridges then the next best step is to call HP.  HP covers all cartridges with a limited warranty to protect against defects like that.  They should be able to send you a replacemen cartridge at no cost incase you are working with a dud.

What is a phone number for HP all that I can find is the chat thing that runs in circles. I can't find anything about bad cartridges
