Hi, I seem to have the opposite of many people on here.  My printer is only printing in color, even when I check black/white box.  I'm spending a fortune on ink!  Sometimes I just print an email and it prints all the logos and what not in color. I always check the black/white only box and still printing in color. Please advise!

This information assumes a Windows computer because you did not state what OS your are using. Go to devices and printers on the PC and add another printer manually. Download the HP Universal Print Driver 6.8 and use that driver when you create the new printer and name it "Monochrome only". After printer is created right click on the icon, select printer properties from the drop down menu and click the device settings tab. Scroll down till you see device type, use the drop arrow and select monochrome.  Click apply and then OK and try to print something to this driver.
