I used to have my printer hardwired to my ASUS AC3100 router and everything worked fine. I had a dedicated IP address.
My network is IP 192.168.2.x. But recently things somthing has changed.
1. When I connect using wireless I get the correct IP range.
2. But when I hardwire it in I get and IP range starting with 172.218.x.x.
I have tried to manually configure my IP address 192.168.2.x. The IP is saved but I cant find the printer on the network.
Any idea's what 172.218 is and why manually setting my IP address is not working.
Thanks
Harj

Funny, I don't see any mention of have 2 routers connected in your original post.

The solution was. I have 2 router( my own plus Telus, my service provider). My router was connected to the telus router using the WAN port. It should have connected using port 1.
It now working great. Thanks.
