Product: hp laserjet pro P1606dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP installation software cannot locate the HP Laserjet P1606dn.  I have restarted the router, both PCs, (old one is powered down), printer.

 

The printer is connected via ethernet and USB.  The software cannot locate the printer using the MAC address.   I could do a USB config and print a test page but the network configuration cannot find the printer.

 

Another Windows 10 (1803) issues?  I hope not.

Found the solution.  I did a factory reset of the HP printer.  it is visible now and configured as a network printer.
