I have had an Officejet Pro 7740 for approximately 1 year with no problems. Yesterday, after a computer & printer restart, the printer is now stuck with "verifying" and the circle on the display and won't go any further, and I cannot print. I do not have auto updates on because the download always fails. Manual updates always fail also. I searched the forum and found the unplug power and all cables, hold down power button for 15 sections then plug it back in, but that didn't work.
Any suggestions? This printer is too new to toss and get a new one.
