HP Color LaserJet Flow MFP 6800
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently got a call from a customer that the on-screen keyboard for their HP Color LaserJet Flow MFP 6800 recently stopped appearing when prompted.

We tried all the easy stuff: Restart, cold restart, firmware upgrade. None of these had any effect.

AI tells me this may be a known issue with the FutureSmart5 firmware, but no updates were done prior to the issue. Updating the firmware to version 5.9.2.3 did not change anything either.

I'm hesitant to try a partial clean or full reset, but those are my next logical options.

Is this a known issue with the FutureSmart5 firmware? Is there a resolution for this?

Anything else I should try before resetting the machine?

I saw another recent post asking a similar question but no answers on that post yet either.

Thank you! That worked!

Leave it to HP to hide these things in weird places!
