Hi @Mytchell

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the situation. You mentioned that your HP LaserJet stopped working, and during the guided setup you were asked to enter the serial number, but the system rejected it with an error. Thank you for sharing that detail.

To move forward effectively, it would help to know a bit more:

  • Could you confirm the exact HP LaserJet model you are using?
  • Was the serial number taken directly from the rear label or from the HP App display?
  • Have you already tried any troubleshooting steps, such as reinstalling the HP App or checking for updates?

Once we have these details, we can provide precise steps to resolve the issue.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
