Most of time it's caused by so called Sticky Solenoids problem.

http://westhillprinters.blogspot.com/2011/12/sticky-solenoids.html

It seats at bottom right of 1020 Plus when you face into the right side.

Take right side cover off just one screw on it.

A Paper Jam does not just mean that a piece of paper is jammed somewhere in the printer.

A Paper Jam can also be that a piece of paper being feed threw the printer did not make it to one of the sensors in the paper path at the time it is designed to. "No jam the paper did not make it to a sensor in-time"

Make sure to clean all Pickup Rollers and Feed Rollers.

I think you forgot the words "printer faces paper jam after 4 or 5 page printing every time" that's the exact symptom of Sticky Solenoid.

Paper jam after 4 or 5 page printing is the beginning stage then it will happen every page.

When it happens you can see two pages jamed which one is half pass through fuser and the other is under toner cartridge.

The second page is all blank. and  the first page is completely printed but just fusered about 4/5 also, that's the exact symptom of Sticky Solenoid.

Another way to "see" the symptom is to low down head and seeing through the inner side of paper input tray.

The standard way of paper input is the inner most side of paper tray will lift up just one time and pick-up roller turning one time simultaneously. When the paper caught and sent into the printer far enough the paper tray won't lift up again and pick-up reller will not turn the second time. But when the paper caught slipping it will lifts up and turns the second time and the 3rd is the most then paper jamed light will light up.

When the paper been caught and going into the printer it will stop lifting and turning, if it's lifting and turning continuously you will have two pages of paper jammed inside the printer for sure.

It's the so called Sticky Solrnoid symptom.
