I'm trying to print very thin transfer paper. It goes through the print portion of the printer but when it rolls up the back to come out it jams. Is there a special way to print on specialty papers like this? On the printer I used to use at work you can open the back special paper come out the back instead of rolling up through the printer. Is there a way to do that with this model? I appreciate any answer I can get on this.

You are talking about a straight-through print feature that allows you to bypass the print rollers in the main output bin. The 1415 does not have a straight-through feature.
For example see this documetn from HP for a pritner that does support straight-through:

I would suggest you find a different piece of media to print on for this task if you plan to use the 1415.
