I dont know the password. Maybe I set one once, maybe someone else in the house did, but if we did, I can't remember it. But there is no way to reset the password or send a clue or anything without.... wait for it.... knowing the password!! I've seen another forum on this topic so I'm not the first. Am raging. Please help!! Please someone send me instructions for how to reset the password! Thank you!

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I have gone through your case and I understand that your HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw is locked with a Password
I'll try my best to help you out
I suggest we try an NVRAM Reset to Factory Settings and that will erase all the data and settings back to Factory condition
Since these are crucial steps, I will send you the instructions in a Private Message
Please check your private message icon in the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile.
Next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it
