Hi! i am really hoping you can help me - I would be grateful.
"Printer is showing: Printer is in an Error State. Have reinstalled drivers, powercycled the printer, and restarted the computer multiple times. Issue started with most recent Windows 10 update."
Someone else started this thread - which is now closed so I can't add to:

How is printer connected? If parallel port it is a known issue with the latest update of windows 10. Go to device manager and in the Port Settings tab change from "Never use an interrupt" to either of the other options.
But I, like someone else, has this issue:
"This option is not available in my port settings. I only can configure the time between retries. where do I find this setting? I've been at this all afternoon and I'm at my wits end"
I tried to send a private message to this person but wasn't able to :(((
I would be grateful is someone can help? Printer prints a test page - FROM THE PRINTER - just fine - but any time I try to print from the computer (tried 2 computers - both Windows 10) and I get "the printer is in an error state".
Worked fine until 2 weeks ago when this update happened. I have been trying to find a fix?

You can try going into the driver settings for the printer, under the port tab, turn off "use bidirectional printing". This may resolve the issue.
