HP LaserJetM1217nfwMFP printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everybody,

I am recently the proud owner of a new HP laptop with Windows 10 operating system with 64-bit. I've been trying to install my HP LaserJetM1217nfwMFP printer since yesterday. It fails however at the installation of the printer driver. Both over CD, as well as over the Internet and the server it fails again and again at the security restrictions. Even the HP Scan and Print Doctor suggested driver LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full-Solution always manages to extract only, but not to install. As I said, the printer is recognized, but not finally installed. "Driver not available, how can I get a working driver installed as fast as possible so that I can print WIFI.

Best regards

Uwe

Hi,

If the printer is connected with a USB, please unplug the cable at this time.

From the Control Panel select Devices and Printers, right-click any instance of the printer and select Remove Device.

Click the Start button and type %temp% into the search bar, then open the shown Temp folder.
Open the latest HP installation folder which begins with 7z (e.g. 7zS1234)
Double click HpSetup.exe and now follow the installation.
