Hi,

  • I have problem with print quality when printing using Wifi Direct. Printed letters on document are gray instead of black, looks like dithered, wavy. It is not due to lack of toner 'cos if I print same document from computer it looks ok. I tested printing from  Android with same results.

Please help!

Thank you

Welcome to HP support community.

Restore the factory-set defaults

1. From the product control panel, press the Setup button.

2. Open the Service menu.

3. Select the Restore Defaults option, and then touch the OK button.

Set up HP Wireless Direct Printing

1. At the product control panel, press the OK button to open the menus.

2. Open the following menus: ● Network Setup ● Wireless Menu ● Wireless Direct

3. Select the On option, and then press the OK button. The product saves the setting and then returns the control panel to the Wireless Direct Settings menu.

Update the printer firmware

Refer the steps mentioned in HP document for firmware update:- Click here

I hope that helps.
