I would like to know if it is possible to turn off the wireless printing connection between my MacBook Air and my printer, and instead, print or scan solely from the UBS connection between the two devices.

Thank you in advance to the Printer Genius Community!

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.

I don't get to do a lot of these machine lately but if you press the wireless button on the printer for a few seconds it should turn off.

Then try using the USB connection and see if that helps.

I didn't realize that the wireless feature could be completely turned off. For my HP model, the on-screen menu led me to a "wireless on or off" switch, so super easy. Thank you.

Yes, You can directly print any document from the Mac book using the USB cable.  From outlook tech support, I get to know that for all the printer this option is not available. You can check this option is available for your model or not.
