I just purchased and installed a LaserJet Pro 200 Color M251nw printer.
From a Windows 7 machine, the printer properties box allows an option (I believe on the finishing tab) for duplex (manual) printing, which when used will then display a screen while printing telling you how to remove the paper from the output bin and reload to the input, then pressing ok to continue with printing the other side of each sheet. I tried this from my laptop and it works great.
Even though this is a manual process for this printer, I really would like to be able to do this when printing from my Mac, but there doesn't seem to be a way to select duplex printing. Is it possible to have this functionality? Is there something I need to set differently on the printer? This would really be helpful. Thanks.

Hi,
The Two-Sided feature reffer to Automatic Two Sided Printing.
As the specific device provide manual duplexing only you may perform manual duplexing as following:
In order to perform manual duplexing, you shouls use the Pages to Print setting, as you may find listed within the manual duplex printing sectiong below:

Thanks for your response. This is certainly an option and it will take care of my manual duplexing desire. It would be really nice if this driver for Mac worked more like the one for Windows where it can all be done with one "print" request. The driver for the Mac certainly is not as friendly or full featured as the one provided for Windows. It would be nice if this could be improved in the future. Thanks again.

Seems a lot of people are missing a simple solution. Sometimes when you change printer drivers the duplex option is disabled. Here's whatcha do if it is:
1-Go to System Preferences in the Apple menu (very top left of your Mac screen)
2-Click on Printers & Scanners
3-Click on the printer you are wanting to use
4-Click on Options & Supplies
5-Click on Options and there you have a check box for duplex unit as well as other features your printer may have
6-Click OK and you're done -- all within less than half a minute or so.
Happy duplexing!

There's an error, that others too have noticed in your reply about two sided printing on a Mac. Step 5 in your instructions is not possible as there is not an "Options" selections after going to the "Options & Supplies" page from step 4.
Furthermore, in the owner's manual, on page 38 there are instructions but they're impossible to complete also.
Can someone, anyone, please tell us how to do two sided printing with the M251nw printer running off a Mac with the "Sierra" OS (10.12)?
Thanks - I hope.

I'm having the same issue where there isn't an "option" button to select. Has anyone been able to find a way around this? I am beyond frustrated. I bought a printer that is specifically meant to print double-sided and it is not doing that.
