HP Color LaserJet CP3520 Printer Series

I'm having issues with wide mostly gray streaks on my prints.

I've vacuumed the printer out, and switched the black cartridge (original HP).

The waste toner is empty.

Any advice on the possible cause, or further troubleshooting steps?

Hi thirdpartycook,

It seems to me as if the ITB (intermediate transfer belt) is the cause of your problem.

Take the ITB out of the printer and inspect it near the end where it clean itself for any bits stuck in there, preventing it from cleaning itself. I don't really remember that particular ITB, but if you are able to open it and clean it and also see if there are any rubbish in there. Replace the ITB as a last effort. Besides the ITB has certain life expectancy and is considered consumable like the toner cartridges.

I hope this will help you,

Cheers!
