I have encountered a printer quality issue and I just want to confirm the steps I have taken and where to next. I have owned my CP4525 printer for the last two years and recently replaced all four toner cartridges with genuine HP toner cartridges. So the toner cartridges are no more than between a week and three weeks old.

Regardless of that I’m still getting some vertical toner marks. I have included a photograph of the print out please note that the vertical marks are most pronounced on the first page of a print job and they are greatly reduced, if not disappear by the second and any subsequent pages.
The toner cartridges were sealed in the box so they are brand-new and the yellow and cyan toner cartridges are working fine it just the magenta and black cartridges that are causing a problem.

Any suggestions on what I can do to eliminate this problem essentially I’m wasting a page with every print job because of it and I don’t want to have to double up on page copies out just to get one page that’s usable.

Transfer belt needs to be replaced, or you can disassemble transfer belt cleaning blade and clean it ( dirty job but free of charge if you do it yourself).
