Printer - CP 1525 NW says jammed but isn't and won't print

My printer often says paper jam but doesn't have a paper jam and won't print during this time. I fight with the printer at least once per week over this issue. I have the CP 1525 NW laser printer and am using a Lenovo Y700 Windows laptop. Any help is so appreciated - this issue is very frustrating! Thanks in advance. 🙂

Most of the time it's the problem of pick-up roller.

When printing the pickup roller should grab paper to reach a certain aera and touch a sensor then the printer will get into next processing and finish the print job.

What your problem is that the paper didn't get to the certain aera so it jamed.

You can peer all these steps from the one paper insert slot which is on the top of the paper tray. It can be lift up all the way to 90 degree. 

You can try to clean the pickup roller first to see if it helps if it's not then it should be replaced.

Another way to prevent is to slow down the speed of printing by changing the default paper type from plain to heavy paper or card.

Use below settings in resolving this frequent cleaning mode, misprint issues:
These settings need to be changed only in printer using ToolboxFX or EWS.
* Do not change/modify any settings in printer drivers. Leave the printer drivers with default settings.

In System Tab and Paper Handling:
Default Paper Size: Letter
Default Paper Type: Plain
Manual Feed: Off
Tray 1 Size: Any Size
Tray 1 Type: Any Type
Tray 2 Size: Letter
Tray 2 Type: Heavy 111-130g
Tray 3 Size: Letter
Tray 3 Type: Heavy 111-130g

In Paper Out Handling:
Select Specify Time and Action.
Paper Out Time: 0 Seconds
Paper Out Action: Override

In System Tab and Print Quality:
Power-On Calibration: 60 Minutes
Calibration Timing: 168 hours
