Jam has been fixed, but keeps giving this message and error code 13.09.14

The person that replied to your post was trying to scam you.

 

Do not answer any phone calls from someone pretending to be from HP.

That error code indicates paper stuck inside the printer. Try turning the printer off and then restarting. If the error immediately comes up then either there is still paper in the printer or a sensor is damaged. This design series is prone to a couple of issues.

 

1. Paper wrapping around the fuser and holding a flag open. With this design to really see the fuser you need to remove it from the printer. Check youtube for a video that shows how to do that.

2. There is a sensor on the back of the fuser that can fail causing a jam error. Tougher fix because HP does not supply that sensor as a service part. The sensor is common to many HP products so you might find another device that you can pilfer a sensor out of.
