Hi,

I have a new printer that keeps running into print jams everytime I try to print from either the network or just printing out printer menu. I have replaced the fuser and had the same issue, the page gets to about 75% done, then states there is a jam in the right door.

Any help is greatly apprecaited.

try printing documents using the MP tray.  any issues?  If everything prints fine, there could be an issue w/ the pick up assembly for the bottom tray(s).  perhaps the rollers are worn and slipping so check those as well.  go into the control panel in your troubleshooting option and try a component/ sensor test.  see if everything is responding as it should.

Is there an error code with the message?

Hello,

No error message shows at all, just states there is a jam after the paper is about 75% through the fuser.

States a Jam no matter where I print from, always jams in the fuser.

Hi KSO3281,

Where does the leading side of the paper stop ?

Can you see any damage on the jammed paper (especially on the leading side of it) ?

Paper looks completely fine, no markings or crumples etc. It appears to print the page needed but won't spit the paper out at the end. I printed the config report which came up but again, it stopped just at the end and i had to manually pull it out and it states a paperjam.

This is important information that we need. I understand that the paper stops just before the paper delivery rollers (output rollers). If this is the case, check if during the booting process the paper delivery rollers spin. And if they don't you will have to check the driving mechanism of them all the way down to the DC controller at the end.

If the paper passes through the paper delivery rollers and stops half-way through then it will need further investigation.

The output rollers do function during the booting process, and the paper makes it through the fuser and stops with about 1/2" of the page left and stops in the output rollers. Everything printed fine on the page but it keeps stopping at that point, it's like the paper doesn't get out of the printer fast enough before it thinks it's a jam.

Does the printer recognise to correct paper size, let's say A4 in tray-2 (and you put A4 paper in tray-2) ?

Make sure the paper size guides in the tray and set properly.

Try to print from tray-1 with paper size any, type any.

It may be a sensor not working properly that detects the paper size (length or width).

Was the printer working properly before?

When did the printer start to have those jams?
