updated 2020-04 Cumulative Update 1909 for x64-based systems (KB4550945

updated 2020-02 Cumulative  Update for .NET 3.5 and 4.8 for Win 10 Version 1909 (KB 4537572)

 

Searching for: 
M477fdw takes me only to M477PCL drivers. Why is this?


Installed:

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477 Printer Series PCL 6 v3 Full Solution

16.0.19137.738 133.8 MB Mar 12, 2020

 

Will print test page, so USB connection works.

But will not print any type of file, word processor, .pdf, .png

 

It hangs up at : "printing document" and 30 minutes later the print hasn't been done. OOPS, 35 minutes later I receive page one of a simple 4-page Word document. (sigh)

 

This has happened frequently over the months since I've owned this printer. Usually uninstalling and reinstalling the driver works. That no longer works.

I'm computer literate, but am very frustrated.

Same problem with I attach my laptop to the printer. one page takes 35 minutes or so to print.
