When I try and print I get an error saying the Printer cannot print "filename".  I've powered off/on both my PC and printer several times, am directly connected to a wall outlet  which I've also connected/disconnected several times, verified the firmware is up to date,  reset the wireless network settings, passed the Wi-Fi network tests, ran the Diagnose and Fix tool in the HP Smart app which says there are no issues but when I try and print the simple PDF file provided I get the same Printer cannot print "filename"  error. Help!!

Is this a file that is on a USB flash drive that you put into the printer?

Rename the file to something simple like test.pdf

Many printers can print PDF, JPEG, or TIFF directly from a USB drive, but not Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), or other formats.  Try opening the file on your computer and printing it instead of printing directly from the printer

Try opening the file on your PC.  If if it opens correctly then save it using a different name and then try printing that.
