I tried  reinstalling the drivers, which are correctly installed according to my computer. It is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector, and I tried unplugging it, waiting a minute, and plugging it back in. Also removed the cartridges and placed them back in. Still stuck in initializing mode. When I go to the menu all cartridges have a !

Remove any usb or network cables and cycle the power to eliminate something from the computer causing the error. If unit still sticks an initializing then I suggest that you will want to perform an NVRAM reset to see if that clears the error.
