My printer is taking so much time (about 10 minutes) to scan on network .
It prints by network instantally, and scan normally when I use a USB drive.
But when I try to use scan by network, it loads about 10minutes, and after complete the docs scan successfully.
I think the problem is in some network configuration, but I don´t know where.
Further, I had used a similar printer in the same place before, and It worked well.

One thing to turn off is the option to verify folder location. This on by default option forces the printer to confirm scan location every time rather than just send the job to the folder. Resolution and file size will also have a large impact. Incomplete or wrong DNS settings will slow everything down if you are scanning using an FQDN instead of the IP address for the location. Example \\server\scan instead of \\192.168.1.1\scan
