Scan worked fine yesterday. Today the printer prints, it copies, it won't connect to scan. Have run HP Smart troubleshooting, still won't scan. Have turned printer off and on twice, still won't scan. Any help welcome, this is huge roadblock on 4/10 as I head to 4/15 filing deadline for many tax returns.

I suppose model would have been helpful! I thought it was populated when I signed in. It's a Color LaserJet Pro MFP 7M479 fdw. I solved it eventually by powering the printer off, and rebooting my laptop. I also found a newer HP app, which hadn't updated. That worked fine until today.
Today, printer prints fine. Went to scan. Says the printer is not available. Printed a test page, works fine. Closed the app, tried again, it worked and I scanned. Scan was crooked, so I went back to scan again. Printer not available.
I'm using Windows 11, connected wirelessly.
